Tug-of-War Competition
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of our school, a tug-of-war competition was held to celebrate the founding of Anqing Foreign Language School. As a traditional sports activity with team spirit, tug-of-war not only tests students' physical strength, but also exercises the ability of collective cooperation. As scheduled, the competition was held in the school track-and-field ground, attracting the attention and participation of a great many teachers and students.
Specifically, a total of 18 teams participated in the competition, representing each class from Grade 7 and Grade 8. Meanwhile, each team consists of 13 players. Also, the seventh and eighth grades are divided into two groups to compete for the winner, runner-ups and second runner-ups.
Furthermore, during the competition, the teams showcased a high level of competition and teamwork spirit. More remarkably, in a close match between the two sides, the red cloth logo on the rope moved back and forth, the crowd cheering one after another in a warm atmosphere. After an intense competition, several matches saw thrilling draws, resulting in the games being decided in extra time.
